Dr. Islam Abou Al-Magd, President of the
National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, participated in the
announcement of the agenda for the 28th Arab-African Investment and
International Cooperation Conference and Exhibition, which will be held in
Cairo from October 19 to 22, 2025, under the slogan “Together We Can” and under

The President of the Authority noted that
the political leadership has successfully created an encouraging environment
for investment and developed infrastructure to support investors, considering
these as essential elements for promoting investment and advancing societies.
Dr. Islam Abou Al-Magd explained that the
upcoming edition of the conference aims to demonstrate the progress made in
building partnerships with scientific institutions, to shape a future for

and contributes to sound vision and precise planning for projects—investments
that rely on accurate data and information to achieve the greatest benefit for
all.
He also expressed his pleasure with the
partnership of the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences,
one of the most important scientific and technological institutions that relies
on advanced satellite data technologies to monitor the Earth and periodically
map natural resources. He emphasized the Authority’s active role in supporting
investors through science, knowledge, and precise data. He further highlighted
that the Authority has a long history in these technologies, numerous partnerships
with Arab and African countries, and has played a key role in shaping Africa’s
space and remote sensing technology policy.
Dr. Islam Abou El-Magd concluded his speech
by stressing that cooperation and partnership are the best paths to achieving
sustainable development, quoting:
‘‘ If you want to go fast, go alone. If you
want to go far, go together.”
The participation of the Authority reflects
its firm commitment to supporting the Egyptian state’s direction in attracting
investments, promoting a knowledge- and technology-based economy, and
strengthening Egypt’s leading Arab and African role in research and development
fields.
