the auspices of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific
Research, Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd, Chairman of the National Authority for Remote
Sensing and Space Science, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Hayawi,
Supervisor of Egypt's International Technological University, signed a letter
of intent to cooperate in the presentation of a new programme for remote
sensing and space science at technological universities for the first time in
Egypt, in the presence of Dr. Azza Shoukry, Dean of the Faculty of Technology
in Cairo, and Dr. Osama Shalabiya, Dean of the
Faculty of Navigation Sciences of the University of Beni Suef.
Dr.

key to increasing the competence of qualified and trained human personnel.
For
his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hayawi said that the
graduate of the space and remote sensing program from technological
universities will provide Egyptian society with many technicians specializing
in the field of space and remote sensing, and it is considered an integrated
program in which a technological university collaborates with the National
Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences and the University of Beni
Suef, pointing out that graduates of technological universities join their
technology union, stressing the importance of linking technical education with
technological education.
Dr.
Ahmed Al-Hayawi that they are in the process of signing a cooperation protocol
with the Remote Sensing Authority; To create a new program for remote sensing
and space science at technological universities, this program could be extended
to other universities.
Dr. Osama Shalabiya said that the program will be remarkable and that many students are expected to attend, noting that the university offers modern study programs that are in line with the demands of the labor market, and offers practical training to qualify students and develop their skills and abilities.
