Within the
framework of the concern of the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space
Science to strengthen cooperation with various educational institutions, Dr.
Islam Abu Al-Magd, Chairman of the National
Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Science, and Dr. Nasser Mandour,
President of the Suez Canal University, signed a joint cooperation protocol
between the Authority and the Suez Canal University, represented at the Faculty
of Arts and Human Sciences.
The aim of
the Protocol is to strengthen cooperation between the Suez Canal University and
the Remote Sensing Authority in several areas, including practical training of
students, joint supervision of graduation projects and cooperation in research
or contractual projects, as well as the possibility of cooperation in the
organization of seminars, conferences and workshops in areas of mutual
interest.
Dr. Islam
Abu Al-Magd noted the Authority's eagerness to cooperate with Suez Canal
University, stressing that this partnership will open up new prospects for
education and training in remote sensing and GIS, and stressing the Authority's
commitment to provide the best training programs and scientific materials to
support this fruitful collaboration.
Dr. Nasser
Mandour explained that the signing of this agreement was part of the
university's strategy to strengthen cooperation with advanced scientific and
technological institutions, noting the university's efforts to provide
excellent training opportunities for students and to raise the level of
scientific research and education in the fields of remote sensing and space
science.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Safa Mohamed Hassan, Head of the Scientific Training Division of the Authority, Dr. Adel Saadani, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Dr. Mohamed Rashad, Head of Department, Dr. Hossam Mohammad Jaballah, General Coordinator of Protocol.
