Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd,
Chairman of the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences,
witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Training and Future
Studies Division of the Authority and the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura Community
University, at the Authority’s headquarters.
The cooperation protocol
was signed by Dr. Safaa Mohamed Hassan, Head of the Training Division at the
National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, and Dr. Ehab Hani Abd
El-Hay, Director of Engineering Programs at the Faculty of Engineering,
Mansoura University.
The protocol aims to
implement advanced training and research programmes in the fields of remote
sensing and space sciences, which contributes to developing the research and
technical skills of students, researchers and faculty members, and contributes
to refining their experiences, capabilities and skills, which benefits the
development of the educational and research system.
Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd
stressed the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences’ endeavor
to spread knowledge, build human capacities, and enhance scientific cooperation
with Egyptian universities in order to qualify graduates to be able to meet the
needs and requirements of the local, regional, and international labor market,
in implementation of the objectives of the National Strategy for Higher
Education and Scientific Research launched by the Ministry in March 2023.
The Chairman of the
Authority pointed out the Authority's interest in establishing partnerships
with various institutions and bodies, and benefiting from the capabilities
available to the Authority to implement projects and research that have an
economic and social return that contributes to supporting the efforts of the
Egyptian state to advance the national economy and society and improve the
level of services provided to citizens.
Attended the signing of
the Cooperation Protocol, Dr. Mohamed Al-Adham Assistant Professor and Head of
the Department of Training and Continuous Studies at the Authority, Dr. Fawzi
Hamed, Assistant Professor of Surveying, and Dr. Sabry Fouda, Assistant
Professor of Engineering
