This study aims to assess pollution levels of Qar El-Bahr and South West of Port Said Airport, Manzala Lake, identify the ecological risks and propose practical solutions to conserve these environments. Geospatial techniques integration with contamination/risk indices and EPA threshold limits were used to assess the degree of pollution and its ecological impacts. Results of this study are in the form of water and sediment pollution maps, scientific reports and posters.

About NARSS

NARSS has been established in 1991 as a General Authority for Remote Sensing belongs to the Ministry of State for Scientific Research.

NARSS was then organizationally restructured in 1994; following the Presidential Decree No. 261 for 1992, as a National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences belongs to the Ministry of Scientific Research.
