The geological and geophysical investigations were carried out at Ballan sanitation plant, Aswan, to image the wastewater percolation around this plant. The area suffers from wastewater appearance around the sandy barriers of this plant. The aim of this study is to detect the weak zones that suffer from such seepage. The geological images detect the weak zone that should be supported to avoid such percolation.

About NARSS

NARSS has been established in 1991 as a General Authority for Remote Sensing belongs to the Ministry of State for Scientific Research.

NARSS was then organizationally restructured in 1994; following the Presidential Decree No. 261 for 1992, as a National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences belongs to the Ministry of Scientific Research.
